Days ago, Nikki “Hoopz” Alexander found herself involved in the latest celebrity sex scandal  when a ‘preview’ of a sex tape featuring candid frames of her was leaked to the Internet. She understandably became the hottest subject in the blogosphere as scenes from the steamy session were made available almost instantaneously.

Hoopz called in to Big Tigger’s radio show yesterday to refute the idea that she herself leaked the video in an effort to reclaim her fifteen minutes of fame.

Hoopz does admit that she is the one on the clip, but doesn’t apologize for having sex. Instead, she warns other women to be absolutley careful when getting their freak on.

“Have your fun or whatever, but if you do make a tape,” she says, “make sure you get possession of that if you don’t want it to ever come around again. Obviously, in so many cases that we’ve heard of, it does… and it’s so crazy for me because I really didn’t think this existed anymore.”

Aside from dealing with this incident, which she says her lawyers are handling, Hoopz is actively pursuing a boxing career. If all goes well, she plans to go pro.
