It’s on an poppin’ now! Eminem recently released a track aimed at Mariah Carey in response to the “Obsessed” video, where she spoofed a character meant to be the Detroit rapper. Many have speculated that the meaning of Carey’s track was aimed at Slim Shady as well, but the award winning singer has repeatedly denied that as the truth.
Entitled “The Warning,” Eminem begins by offering just that: “The only reason I dissed you in the first place is because you denied seeing me. Now I’m pissed off.”
He then goes on a rampage at some point reminding, “This is what the fuck I do” and pulls no punches when it comes to Carey’s husband Nick Cannon, with whom he also exchanged words earlier this summer.
You wanna hear something wick wack?/ I got the same exact tattoo that’s on Nick’s back…
Oh gee, is that supposed to be me in the video with the goatee? / Wow Mariah, didn’t expect ya to go b***s out. / Bitch, shut the f*** up before I put all those phone calls out / When you was wilding out / Before Nick, when you was on my d***…
Eminem gets extremely explicit, ‘warning’ he will dig into his collection of pics and drums up potential responses for Carey (who he commonly refers to as “Mary Poppins”), in the event that he does:
I put up with her psycho ass for six months/ and only spread her legs to let me hit once/ yeah what you gonna say? I’m lucky?/ tell the fuckin’ public that I was so ‘ ugly/ you fuckin had to be drunk to fuck me?
Listen to it here.
