LA Tagger Busted Over Self Incriminating YouTube Video

Los Angeles tagger Buket, whose real name is Cyrus Yazdani, was recently sentenced to do four years in jail for defacing city owned property with his artistic flair. The oddity of it all is, Buket had plead guilty to numerous felony charges in 2008 and was up against new charges that tallied $60k in damages, according to authorities.
He accepted financial responsibility for other counts that equaled over $100,000 and to the date he was imprisoned, only paid $400.
But here’s the kicker. In 2007, Buket uploaded footage of himself on the 101 Hollywood Freeway and can be seen tagging the overpass with his name in BROAD DAYLIGHT.
Either this dude is all the way off in the head or he was outed by one of the homies. In either scenario, he’s in jail for doing something that could have been avoided. He probably could have continued to tag the city at will, admitted his guilt here and there… paid some fines and eventually, the charges would have been dismissed.
But he didn’t. He chose to bask in the thrill of it all and disregard the code that many a grafiti artist lives by… and now he’s paying for it. Hope it was worth it playboy. You got your street cred, but at what cost?
