Game’s RED Album Leaking Like A Water Faucet
by KS STAFF on Oct.30, 2009, under SLAP
Call it new age promotion or the way of the world, either way artists are being forced to reinvent their appeal as album leaks run rampant over the Internet.
The latest victim? Game.
Just when you thought he was in the studio hunkering down for the release of his fourth solo album, he changes his name, then two tracks that will almost certainly be on his latest project, find their way to every music blog in America.
The first, “Better Days,” feels more Phil Collins than Jayceon Taylor, but provides an honest look at a torn thug. Jim Jonsin provides the beat and Game takes yet another opportunity to expose his more emotional side.
“Big Money” finds the Compton born emcee in typical rapper mode, but more or less enjoying the fruits of his labor. Redundant? Perhaps, but what isn’t these days? Besides, shit bangs.
