If the Birdman/Lil Wayne collaboration, Like Father Like Son, seemed like a bad idea in 2006, recent allegations tied to the project likely have worsened the idea of the collaboration all over again.
As of Friday, October 30, 2009, Thomas Marasciullo, filed a lawsuit claiming the father/son duo stole vocal arrangements from him, according to the Associated Press.
The suit identifies both rappers, their label and an assortment of distribution companies.
Marasciullo, a Florida man, was hired to provide “Italian styled spoken word,” vocals on a variety of tracks, but was never compensated on either Like Father Like Son or Baby’s 5 (Star) Stunna.
A total of nine tracks were apparently used, per the lawsuit, and Marisciullo is said to be seeking unspecified damages.
