Embattled rapper DMX was recently arrested on charges of violating parole and sentenced yesterday in an Arizona courtroom to six months in jail.

Under the judge’s orders X would be obligated to serve his time in a Phoenix jail. The Yonkers born emcee admitted to violating five  terms of his probation, one of which led to dirty drug test results.

Surprisingly, he may not have to serve any time at all. Dr. Drew Pinksy of “Celebrity Rehab,” wrote a letter on Simmons behalf, asking the court to allow him to serve time in his Pasadena based facility instead of doing the time behind bars.

Got a call from Tha Hip Hop Doc a couple days ago and while we go back a couple few years, it was good to reconnect and put something new down.

You may or may not know it, but Dr. Rani Whitfield is one of the most thorough Family Physicians in the country… AND he’s a Hip Hop junkie!!

Kinda makes you want to move to Louisiana and get some health care don’t it? At any rate, this flyer was inspired by his comic book series, “My Life Is In Your Hands.”

He’ll be speaking in Chicago next week to promote the series and more importantly, the reality of getting hip hop healthy!!

Unlike the editors at thisis50, we’re not sure if this is a response to the Menace track/video that appeared in the previous post.

What we do know is, this is a slapper and it will appear on the forthcoming Zoolife mixtape entitled C.O.P.S. (Crips On Public Streets).

If 40 Glocc and crew did drop this as a response to their Black Wallstreet rivals, they would have had to know about it in the first place, which means both sets would have communicated without incident. We’re inclined to think didn’t happen.

Outside of that, they would have had to shoot around the clock to pull off a video, hook, etc. on such short notice.

Safe to say it was a coincidence?
