Affion Crockett Does Russell Simmons For Fun
by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Mar.17, 2010, under VID E OZE
Affion Crockett has to be the hustling-est comedian in the game, so it only made sense for him to hook up with Uncle Hustle. Besides, his impersonations are dead on.
The best thing about his contribution, is that he never does anyone he can’t do… But then, as good as he is, you have to wonder who he can’t pull off?
One thing’s for sure. Russell Simmons does not happen to fall in the latter category.
From his incredible impression of Uncle Rush on VH1’s “Hip Hop Honors” tribute, to various clips you will find on his site, Crockett has no problem poking fun at hip hop royalty.

Game Don’t Wanna Be A Gangsta No Mo’
by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Mar.16, 2010, under KS NEWS
Compton bred rapper Game is currently fighting a lawsuit stemming from a 2007 incident that might work to re-define him as an artist.
Various sources are reporting Game has asked the judge and prosecution team to not refer to him as a “gangster rapper” and would prefer his lyrics not be introduced as evidence against him.
Game fears if the jury hears pointed lyrics glorifying the life and culture of the gang(s) he’s gone on record to represent, it might taint their decision for or against him.
Game already served eight days in jail for the incident, an alleged brawl where he supposedly hit another man during a pick up basketball game, then later pulled a gun on him.
Ice Cube Addresses The Naysayers In New Blog Post
by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Mar.12, 2010, under KS NEWS
A couple of weeks ago veteran West Coast rapper Ice Cube announced his plans to drop a new album this summer, ultimately causing quite a stir.
Normal you say for a veteran rapper of Cube’s caliber to want to begin the promotional push for his ninth solo release? Well, it would have been save for the name - I AM THE WEST – he chose to describe it.
Understandably, the 40 year old pioneer has gotten his fair share of flack for such an audacious claim. So he took to his blog again to address the responses he’s gotten and heard from the youngstas.
I knew, as soon as I named my record, I AM THE WEST… Suckas would come out the wood work and have something to say about it.
