We’ve had our eye in PIIMP (Put It In My Pocket) for awhile now and the OGs, Mahem & Killa Tay are two main reasons why. Their affiliate Gorilla Gang, is a beast in and of itself and the hustle is unparalleled for an indie label.

Had to do a little searching, but below you’ll find a double video for “You Don’t Wanna Know Killa” and “Paper Politicin,” directed by Gorilla Gang’s Big Ju.

Not to slight Tay or anything. Dude is a well respected rapper in the Bay and all, but Mahem’s impact takes this song from ordinary to spectacular in a few bars. His energy on “You Don’t Wanna…” alters the track immediately and his wordplay on “Paper Politicin” is equally impressive.

Lakers in 5? You gotta believe to achieve! Mark our words or see us eat them tomorrow. Either way, this anthem is a also a tribute to the Lakeshow and their push toward a repeat championship!

As far as the song/video, it was a good time in the Bay when this track dropped. Real good. Everybody was on fire! Everyone was original and there was nothing but good music bumping from the trunk.

Before the funk with Short got too out of control, before the issues with C-Note. Before the split from Virgin and the fallout with P, there was the “I Got Five On It” G-Mix featuring legends such as E-40, Spice 1, Dru Down and Richie Rich!

A couple weeks til Revenue Retrievin’ drops and E-40 is busy as a hooker on a Saturday night.

Ironically the subject of his new self induced leak with Too Short points to the opposite: the perception that woman is God’s gift to man and men that act like BITCHES.

Pretty simple stuff there. Act like a “Bitch,” you get treated like one.

The other half of the video is dedicated to the grind. As if he’ll ever have to go back, 40 offers a retro spill (”Over The Stove”) that won’t soon come to light.

The Jacka & Laroo hooked up with Gino Rocks to deliver a movie to go along with their collaborative music  effort – Neva Be The Same.

Included in the album packaging is a free DVD sneak peak of the movie that follows the two Bay Area rappers on a mission that’s somewhat summed up in the clip below.

Neva Be The Same is slated to drop next Tuesday, January 19.
