Yesterday we caught a glimpse of the exclusive interview the Chris Brown team granted CNN and Larry King on Larry King Live. Since attempting to rebound from the heavily publicized fight between he (Brown) and Rihanna, the R&B superstar has been relatively quiet, but opened up on national television in an attempt to clear the air.

Seems the soundbite that was chosen to represent his feelings about the actual altercation was a bit skewed and Brown released a statement via Jive Records to say as much.  An excerpt of the statement is below:

That 30 seconds of the interview they used of me was taken from a one hour interview during which that same question was asked something like 4 or 5 times — and when you look at the entire interview you will see it is not representative of what I said.

The first four times —“ or how ever many times it was – I gave the same answer — which was that I didn’t think it was appropriate for me to talk about what happened that night.  I said it was not right for me and it really wasn’t fair to Rihanna.  The fifth time —“ or whatever it was —“ I just misspoke. I was asked, “Do you remember doing it?” and I said, “No.”

Of course I remember what happened. Several times during the interview, my mother said that I came to her right afterwards and told her everything.  But it was and still is a blur. And yes, I still can’t believe it happened because it is not me or who I am or is what happened like anything I have ever done before.

Brown went on to apologize for his actions again and take full responsibility. He also stressed that the matter was an “isolated incident” and does not represent who he is or will ever be.

Damn shame this thing just continues to drag on. Poor boy can’t catch a break even when he attempts to do right.

CNN released a video clip of Michael Jackson’s rehearsal footage for his farewell tour, scheduled to begin this July. In it he performs “They Don’t Care About Us” and looks to be extremely ginger for a 50-year-old man. This footage will undoubtedly raise more eyebrows surrounding his sudden death only a day after this particular scene was filmed. Reports indicate CNN has access to over 100 hours of footage of MJ rehearsing, so it’s entirely possible more videos will surface.

TJ Holmes discusses Obama’s swag with another anchor, painting the picture of a very hip President who doesn’t mind the occasional stroll out on the town. He just might show up at a Bulls game (cause the Wizards suck and he’s from Chicago) and he plays the likes of Kanye West and Beyonce on his private jet.

Be that as it may, this swag shit is getting out of control. A good majority of men who use the term with conviction, are metrosexuals that probably spend more time in the mirror than their women. Now is that how we want our President to be perceived?

As he anticipates sentencing for his part in a weapons charge case that occured in 2007, Clifford Harris AKA T.I., sits down with CNNs T.J. Holmes to discuss matters germane to the rapper’s current circumstances. The video is interrupted at one point as he is reminded to change the battery on his ankle monitor.
