New SLAP | Crooked I Ft. Snoop Dogg | “Guess Who’s Back”
by KS STAFF on Oct.06, 2009, under SLAP

It’s always nice when old and new talents (no disrespect) collaborate, but even better when they’ve riffed over the years and form a mutual bond via music. In this particular instance you have Snoop Dogg of the original Death Row regime and Crooked I, of the one that never actually escaped its own injurious grip.
Fittingly, the track is titled “Guess Who’s Back” and “Uncle” Snoop secures the hook on a banger from Crook’s Mr. PigFace Weapon Waist.

Crooked I Ain’t Nuthin’ To F*ck Wit! | Clears Up Rumors
by KS STAFF on Aug.11, 2009, under KSMN
During an interview with Hip Hop Official, Crooked I cleared up the rumors surrounding an altercation between his crew and Wu Tang Clan’s Raekwon at a Rock The Bells tour venue. He admitted there was some friction, but wasn’t nearly as unruly as most made it out to be.
“I don’t really get down with these dudes that wanna be extra street, cause I just don’t believe them,” he said. “The Internet needs to understand that everything you hear may not be the truth.”
The Long Beach native added that while he won’t soon back down from a battle of fisticuffs, he would rather make music and feed off of the positive energy that exists in hip hop.
Slaughterhouse | “The One” (Video)

Say what you will about Slaughterhouse, but they went there on this rock’n'roll inspired anthem. They all claim to be the obvious, leaving the curious to wonder how when there are four of them, but once you get past silly observations, it’s a true banger!
WCW | Yukmouth feat. Ray J | “I’m A Gangsta”

We found this over at The Bay Is Back Dot Com and were ( ) <– this close to not sharing it… another story altogether. At any rate, it’s mediocre at best. Yuk is something like a West Coast legend, but he slips from time to time and this is a perfect example. While his lyrics are on par, the track isn’t and neither is Brandy’s little brother. Crooked I delivers a nice sixteen, but neither rappers are able to save the Ray day.
Listen and don’t be afraid to tell us if you think we’re wrong.
