Once considered the funniest man in the entertainment industry, Dave Chappelle’s disappearing act baffled most and surprised the rest. As sudden as he left though, he re-emerged this week in the infamous Laugh Factory, where he took the opportunity to talk about his leave of absence.

In this clip Chappelle makes light of other people’s reactions to his “journey” from the game and then goes bad on the chick that wrote The Secret.

Funny stuff!! But what else would you expect from a genius?!

Is this funny? Or does it take us somewhere we don’t necessarily want to be right now? The truth about Dave Chappelle is he’s a brilliant mind. One of those comedians that comes along once every tenth leap year. He’s spent a good amount of time away from the spotlight and for the most part, people either thought he was crazy, on drugs or burnt out.

To surface this way (the oldest post we found on youtube was two months ago, so we’re obviously late) is clearly him, but does it do anything to hinder our mission and/or standing as a people?
