New SLAP | Dogg Poung | ‘100 Wayz’ (Video)

by KS STAFF on Jun.07, 2010, under VID E OZE

100 wayzDah Dah’s back at you with another one of those gangsta ass videos and this go round it’s none other than the Dogg Pound Gangstas.

For years Daz Dillinger and Kurupt The Kingpin together, were the archetype for everything gangsta. But now… it’s a little odd.

Forget the fact that they haven’t released a full length album worth mentioning since… 2007 (Dogg Chit)… maybe? It just feels weird to see two grown ass men waving guns on some desolated block.

Maybe it’s just us, but  gangstas grow up too… don’t they?

In any scenario, peep lead single off their new project 100 Wayz, their seventh together as a group.

New SLAP | Kokane | “Rollin’ Up” (Video)

by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on May.24, 2010, under SLAP, VID E OZE

rollin' upKokane AKA Mr. Kane, continues the push toward June 1 with a new viral visual off his forthcoming LP Gimme All Mine entitled “Rollin’ Up.”

A handful of his Southern California rap buddies, including Snoop Dogg, The Dogg Pound and Soopafly fall through to support and why wouldn’t they?

It’s a car show and anyone who knows a California car show, knows big rims bring big flocks of females and big fun for all.

Aside from delivering his customary flow and signature vocals over a track that’s nearly laid back as he, Koka drops some Jamaican adlibs that work seamlessly into the track.

When all seems said and done, a Katt Williams voice over infuses a comedic, yet pimpin touch.

New SLAP | DPG | ‘Westside Rydin’

by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Oct.23, 2009, under SLAP

20091022-DPGArguably two of the best to ever do it… when they were at the top of their game, the Snoop Dogg inspired Dogg Pound was more than a dynamic duo. They were a deadly duo… as in quick to kill off competitors.

As the Canadian crew attempts to reAwaken the glory days of Death Row by dipping into Suge’s hallowed vaults, Daz Dillinger and Kurupt Young Gotti fittingly opted to drop a new album and DVD of their own – That Was Then, This Is Now.

The album and DVD, of course, is based on their experience as members of the once unstoppable West Coast label spearheaded and ultimately run into the ground by Suge Knight.

This particular leak comes weeks before their new project release date (November) and suggests they remain the formidable duo they always were, despite the time away fulfilling other obligations.

Produced by Fredwreck, then murdered by Kurupt and Daz, DPG is back.
