40 H20 Workin’ Day & Night
by KS STAFF on Mar.02, 2010, under VID E OZE
The buzz for Revenue Retrievin’ (Day Shift & Night Shift) is coming on hard and heavy in anticipation for a release later this month. It should stay that way as long as the Cashmere Agency has anything to do with it.
Here’s some exclusive footage from the Ambassador’s work place (that’s a studio… any studio) where he breaks down the science behind the album(s) and how he’s made it 22 years up in this.
Hard work, innovative spit and self editing. No computers. No blackberry notes. Just a pen, a pad and the microphone.
Real classical type shit right there!!
The results will be available in stores and online March 30th.
New SLAP | E-40 | “The Server” (Video)
by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Jan.21, 2010, under SLAP, VID E OZE
The big homie chopped the dreads off and went straight back to the block on this one.
Granted, there will be other mainstream tracks that dissuade faithful 40 listeners from the routine bump, but this is a great sign for Revenue Retrievin’ (Day & Night Shift).
Albums slated for a March 30, 2010 release on Heavy On The Grind Entertainment/ E.M.I/ Sickwidit Records.
We’re a little tardy with this, but it sounds good any day of the week. So if you’ve already peeped it, lock in again and bob that there head.
Young Jeezy Up To His Usual Tricks In The Yay
by KS STAFF on Aug.18, 2009, under VID E OZE
Young Jeezy is known for bringing people out on stage to either create a bigger effect for himself or to show love to some city and/or crowd. For instance, this year, after he’d wrecked the Birthday Bash set in ATL, he brought out Lil Wayne to a stunned crowd that would have gone through the roof had their been one. From what we know of Jeezy, he always gives it up and this example, which occurred Saturday night in the Bay Area, was no different, as he brought out the Ambassador of the Yay, E, muthafuckin’ 40 while passing through on the AMW tour.
If there’s any reason to criticize Jeezy, it would rest in the idea that he announced 40 as the “King of Oakland” and anyone who’s traveled across the bridge more than five times, knows Earl is from Vallejo. The other would be the notion that he seemed to think he was in Oakland opposed to Concord… other than that, it was cavvy.
New Slap | Metro P. | “Might Go” featuring E-40 & Young Buck
by KS STAFF on Jul.22, 2009, under SLAP

If you’re wondering where Old Skool Mob music went, it’s right here. Metro P and E-40 hook up on this Westcoast Remix that also includes Tennekee bad boy Young Buck. While he may have been banished from 50s camp, the former G-Unit member fits in just fine with the Yay Area’s finest. 40 reverts to rare form and Metro P keeps the pace on this chilly track.
Enjoy!
OSJ | The Click | “Tired Of Being Stepped On”
by KS STAFF on Jun.25, 2009, under OLD SKOOL JEWEL, SLAP, THROWBACK THURSDAYS, VID E OZE
It’s Throwback Thursday and we found another Old Skool Jewel for you! If you’ve never heard this song, you should have, so scroll down and press play. If you’re already up on it, go head and get a little nostalgic with us!
Arguably their most politically sound track as a group, The Click – comprised of family members E-40, B-Legit, D-Shot and Suga T – came raw with this one.
“Tired Of Being Stepped On” represents the struggle candidly and appropriately for the man who just can’t seem to get things right. The battle tested soldier from the streets who no one will hire, his choices are limited and as a result, misery finds him in the form of prison, the block or death.
The ex-cons, the D- Boys, the unemployed, this track embodies the reality of overcoming the trials and tribulations that life serves up every so often.
Stay strong Black Man!
Man, my mother is disabled/ ain’t got no food on the table/ all I can afford is noodles with the generic label…
This goes on for about a week and a half/ I need to think fast/ I need some cash/ lemme water my grass and make it greener…
