Beans In The Studio Still Spittin’ Venom
by KS STAFF on Nov.19, 2009, under VID E OZE

Just an average day at the office here for Beans… Hear a dope beat, get inspired and drop more venom in the direction of his former mentor.
He said he wasn’t going to stop and reiterates that point here via rhyme and monologue. Everyone knows Beanie Sigel ain’t no punk on the mic or the block and he continues to offer glimpses of what made him “The Truth” in the first place.
This won’t end soon.

Dame Dash and Jay Z Subjects of Controversial Documovie
by KS STAFF on Dec.30, 2008, under KS NEWS
A new tell-all documentary detailing the reasons behind the bitter breakup of {JAY-Z} and {DAMON DASH}’s record label is set to air next year (09).
The pair founded Roc-A-Fella Records in 1996 as a subsidiary of the Universal Music Group but disagreements between the two friends brought about the demise of the label in 2004.
And now former BET producer and Roc-A-Fella employee Choke No Joke is releasing documentary I Am Choke, No Joke to reveal the truth about the bitter split.
He tells us, “Dame was a camera freak. He loved people to tape him ’cause he started thinking he was a star… Ever since the ‘Big Pimpin’ ‘ video, he started getting’ a little light and it started to get to his head.”
Joke claims Dash’s signing of rapper Ol’ Dirty Bastard, and his proposal of Cam’ron as a Vice President of the label were among the disputes that drove a wedge between the two, adding: “Jay wasn’t feeling none of that ****.”
Jay-Z has since gone on to have a hugely successful entrepreneurial and producing career, whilst Dash has seen his home go into foreclosure.
In a new video, Dash, when asked about producing tracks for rappers who have slammed Jay-Z, insists he can’t support the star against his adversaries since their friendship broke down.
Dash explains, “Sure it can be perceived as a conflict but… Jay put me in a position where I can’t protect him no more.
“What he did to me publicly could be seen as so heinous and foul that how could I ever tell somebody don’t do nothin’?… Before I might have taken a bullet or a punch for Jay, now I just don’t get involved.
“That’s the way he chose it to be. You won’t be hearing me say nothing about him, but I won’t be jumping in a fight for him.”
