Freeway Ricky Ross Wants William Roberts To Use His Own Name

Freeway Ricky Ross has a right to be mad, but he doesn’t seem to be. At least in this interview, he doesn’t. He acknowledges no one has ever taken anything from him and he’d known about it, which is the main reason why he’s pursuing a legal action against Roberts.
Ross offers that he knew the Miami rapper was a one time corrections officer, as fellow inmates from Florida informed him while he was locked up.
“I knew about it all along,” he says. “I didn’t want to be the one to bust him out. If I bust him out people would say, ‘Aw Rick just did that cause he hatin’.'”
He goes on to suggest he doesn’t need the money that will come with an eventual victory in the suit, but wants his name back simply because… it’s his. (continue reading…)

The Power of Persistence
Today, Jimmy DaSaint and I were working out on the weight pile when the word ‘persistent’ came up in our conversation. We both agreed that persistence is the one trait that all successful people have in common. Without persistence you will not be successful for long. Everybody goes through ups and downs in their life journey, but it’s not what you go through but how you deal with it when trouble or situations arrive. It made me think back to the one time I almost gave up on everything.
