Game Finds His Way Back Home

by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Feb.10, 2010, under KS NEWS

gameIt’s been a long time coming, but Game finally found his way back home. The Black Wallstreet impresario announced via his Twitter account this past Saturday that Dr. Dre officially welcomed him back with open arms and he posted an image of himself with four Aftermath chains on to confirm the reunion.

The announcement couldn’t have come at a better time, as the controversial West Coast emcee is set to release his fourth album, R.E.D. next month.

The possibility of a Game/Dre reunion seemed plausible a little over a month ago when Game tweeted his interest in working on the heavily anticipated Detox album. He went on to tweet that he and Dre had been in the studio working together and ultimately revealed that the legendary producer was on board for his upcoming project.

WCW | Game Ft. Ray J & Esther Dean | “P*ssy Fight”

by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Feb.03, 2010, under SLAP, WCW

catfightThere were whispers about this track a few months ago and the original snippets (I remember hearing) didn’t sound like this.

Looks like the added time Game decided to spend in the studio is paying off.

Not sure what to make of this in the way of the direction music is spinning, but you can’t deny it’s risky and fun. Easy? Perhaps… but who cares? Not my career.

That said, Game, Ray J along ith this mystery chick Esther Dean, really go there on this explicit mid.

As is his custom, Game calls out whoever is on his mind and manages to pull Ray J into the fray.

The latter brings about the most comical aspect of the track in that 1, Ray J is flowing and 2, he calls out Reggie’s main, Ellen D, Missy and Tila Tequila… Whoa!!

Game Drops Freestyle Diss At Local LA Club

by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Nov.30, 2009, under VID E OZE

2a0kyso.jpgSomebody gave Game a mic and he proceeded to freestyle, dissing his nemesis’ and others he claims to have welcomed into the Blood family.

Among his targets in this latest rant are old faithfuls Jay Z, 50 Cent, Lil Wayne and Suge Knight/Death Row. As per the latter diss, he could have been referencing the new Canadian version of the once powerful West Coast label. But chances are he meant Suge’s version of it.

Jim Jones and Gucci get it too, but their part of the tirade isn’t seemingly as abrasive. He only claims to have given them a special kind of street cred.

In other Game news, the controversial emcee recently made up with Dr. Dre and is said to have the legendary producer and Pharrell on board to executive produce his fourth opus R.E.D. Just Blaze, Polow Da Don, Timbaland and Cool & Dre are also expected to contribute.

The official release date for R.E.D. was pushed back from December to February 16, 2010.

Nipsey Hussle Talks How Red & Blue Make Green

by KS STAFF on Nov.23, 2009, under VID E OZE

nipsey_hussle_2Nipsey Hussle has to have one of the hardest West Coast accents ever! He also bears the mentality and qualities that produce five star albums.

Ready and willing to get it in whenever, whereever and with whomever, Neighborhood Nip discusses how his rap career materialized because he wouldn’t have it any other way.

Equally important, he talks how red and blue make green on this clip he provided The Raw Report.

“We men first,” he says, referring to his decision to work with Blood affiliates Jay Rock and Game. “It’s politickin’ in LA behind that, but at the same time, we gettin’ money. Like I say, we men first.

“I knew Jay Rock and Jay Rock knew me, just like I knew Game. It was just mutual respect. We get it in and do our thang.”

Nipsey is currently promoting the third installment of his street classic, Bullets Ain’t Got No Names.

50 Cent Unwilling To Work With Game, Even For Dre

by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Nov.16, 2009, under KS NEWS

50-cent-the-game-wallpaper-900x675Game may have mended the fences with Dr. Dre, but scaling the wall known as 50 Cent is a feat that may not ever happen.

MTV caught up with the G-Unit impresario to discuss his participation on the heavily anticipated Detox album, Dre’s follow up to Chronic 2001 and among the topics they discussed was whether he would collaborate with the Compton emcee on the project.

“No, I wouldn’t do it. I’d be on a record, on a song, on the [Detox] album, but not on that record [with Game]. That’s not making a song, that’s making an event — things for people to talk about,” 50 told MTV. “So there’s a verse there that you think would be great for both of us, I just say, ‘Erase his verse and put something in better than that.’”

After the unfortunate death of fallen pop icon Michael Jackson, Game also shared an exclusive with MTV where he apologized to 50 Cent, Dre and Jimmy Iovine for his role in breaking down their lines of communication. Game was eventually ousted from G-Unit as an official member.

50’s fourth solo effort, Before I Self Destruct, is available in stores tomorrow.
