Jay Z granted MTV an interview to discuss how his heavily anticipated album, Blueprint 3, was leaked and eventually bootlegged by the masses yesterday. No word as to whether he and Timbaland are at odds over the misstep, but he seems a little miffed.

Forever the businessman, Jay took it on the chin, save for the first soundbite you’ll hear on the interview, where he says, “”Whether Timbaland or his camp got their email jacked, cuz it was only his songs that leaked first… now The whole thing is going to leak pretty soon.”

Outside of that, he pretty much allowed that ’shit happens.’ You have to think one of those people ringing his phone or dialing his pager was Timbaland, in an attempt to clear his name and/or threaten Jigga bodily harm (dude’s swole now!).

It kind of reminds you of a professional sports team that airs their dirty laundry when some nosy, suggestive reporter asks the right (or wrong, depending on how you look at it) question.

At the end of the day, you’re #1 on the Forbes rich rapper list dude… Buck up and keep it movin’ homie!

Another track from Dr. Dre’s infamous Detox album leaked over the weekend and with it the verses Ludacris wrote on behalf of the legendary West Coast producer (some sources are saying he wrote the whole album, but we think that’s bologna…).

Luda took to Twitter to respond to all the inquiries about the track, saying he didn’t know how it leaked and “it was fun trying” to be Dre for a day.

There’s no telling whether Detox will still have the track on it, but if history is any indication, Dre fans may have to wait another year or two…

Something tells us the Good Dr. won’t be too happy knowing we know Luda gave him an assist, but on some real shit, who the fuck cares? All we want is to hear the damn thing!!

For the love of Chronic Dre, don’t push the album back again! WE KNOW YOU CAN’T RAP!!!!! You’re a genius beat maker and that’s all we ever wanted you to be!
