According to TMZ, Lil Wayne was scheduled to appear in an Arizona courtroom yesterday and missed sentencing for a an old case because he’s uhhh… in jail.

The case stems from a January 2008 arrest, where Wayne and his tour bus were searched for illegal drugs and firearms.

DEA agents found and seized 105 grams of marijuana, 29 grams of cocaine and 41 grams of ecstasy pills and a 40-caliber pistol during the rummage, adding to the New Orleans’ rapper’s laundry list of legal trouble.

Wonder if Dr. Drew will write him a letter once he gets out next year…

Black Wallstreet’s Menace invited notorious Blood gang member/affiliate Mitchy Slick and Lil Wayne (something of a honorary member/affiliate??) to join him in a celebration of everything that is the Blood alliance.

“Blood Niggaz” features verses from all three artists, the most notable coming from Wayne, who has been rumored to be affiliated with the Blood nation for some time.

Interestingly enough, the New Orleans rapper holds no punches, claiming the Blood set with pride and joy, as the three emcees canonize gang life.

Lil Wayne was expected to walk out of a New York courtroom today and into custody to begin a sentence that might last upwards of a year.

Instead, he was pardoned a few more weeks so he could get his tooth fixed. Apparently, the Young Money head honcho is suffering from a cracked tooth and will need up to two weeks to recover.

The original date Wayne’s defense team targeted for him to begin serving his sentence was February 25th, but the judge postponed it to March 2nd.

Wayne was accompanied by his daddy Baby and uncle Slim.

Looks like it was one helluva  pool party… that’s how you go out Weezy! Invite all your folks, party hearty and record until you heart is content.

Those of you wanting a Lil Wayne fix won’t have to wait much longer.

Rebirth, his seventh studio album, is set to hit stores December 15th.

The album will be packaged as part of a dual disc set with, “We Are Young Money,” Wayne’s Young Money compilation project.

Rebirth will feature appearances from Travis Barker, Lenny Kravitz, Drake, and Fall Out Boy.

Wayne’s first rock album, Rebirth is the culmination of Wayne’s persistence to broaden himself as an artist.

In the past year, video footage surfaced showing an animated and artistic Lil Weezy playing the guitar onstage for his fans.

Rebirth was originally slated for an April release, but was pushed back several times for various reasons.
