by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Feb.02, 2010, under SLAP
With his name and rep growing throughout the Golden State, Fab has assumed the title of Prince of the Coast and you’ll have the unique opportunity of weighing in when his September 7th hosted mixtape drops sometime this quarter.
The overwhelming theme on this uptempo track – “Ungrateful” ft. Lil Kev – is having accepted responsibility for what one can control.
Fab too, seems exhausted at having repped his soil for so long only to find support for his projects dwindle at every turn.
What you want me to do?/ man i can’t please you/ say I sell out if I try to leave you/ but if I stay here I’ma fuckin’ freeze dude/ cause it’s cold and it’s chilly by the water…
What you want a nigga to do?/ cut off my hands then give em to you?/ cut off my feet then give you my shoe?/ cut off my teeth/ will that help you chew?

In the following clip, Fab sits down with Ms. Drama to discuss a number of things related to his career and hip hop in general.
Among them are his introduction to the masses via his hit song “Hit Me On Twitter,” the VMAs and the New Boyz.
A proud product of the Bay Area, Fab is asked to distinguish between the hyphy movement of old and the “jerk movement,” spearheaded by the New Boyz, that is currently sweeping the nation.
While the former Mac Dre apprentice embraces the new energy, he makes a point to exacerbate the difference between Northern California and Southern California while offering his explanation.
He also discloses some hard hitting facts about the origin of the dance that is affiliated with the song.

We’ve voiced our dislike for the Twitter phenomenon and won’t back down from our position, but ya gotta love the position Fab takes. Herein he introduces a couple of new Twitter terms (Twerms?) – ‘Twigga’ and Twater,’ then documents the origins of the “reach me right now” movement. From Blackplanet to Myspace, Facebook and now Twitter, the lines of communication continue to move with warp-like speed.

Mistah Fab and Smitty ‘Go In’
by KS STAFF on Apr.14, 2009, under SLAP, VID E OZE
One is a ghostwriter extraordinaire and the other was the poster child for the Bay Area phenomenon that was/is “Ghostriding the Whip.” As a pair, the two emcees prove to be a very tangible duo that can “go in” with the best of them.
If you like rap music, this collaboration/song has to make you smile. So if you’re not grinning from ear to ear or nodding your head by the end of this track, play it back until that hate eases its way out of your body.
