Mistah Fab Chops With Ms. Drama Live From NY
by KS STAFF on Sep.17, 2009, under VID E OZE
In the following clip, Fab sits down with Ms. Drama to discuss a number of things related to his career and hip hop in general.
Among them are his introduction to the masses via his hit song “Hit Me On Twitter,” the VMAs and the New Boyz.
A proud product of the Bay Area, Fab is asked to distinguish between the hyphy movement of old and the “jerk movement,” spearheaded by the New Boyz, that is currently sweeping the nation.
While the former Mac Dre apprentice embraces the new energy, he makes a point to exacerbate the difference between Northern California and Southern California while offering his explanation.
He also discloses some hard hitting facts about the origin of the dance that is affiliated with the song.

Either they didn’t get the memo that auto tunes is dead or the Skinny Jean’d Jerks known as the New Boyz are blatantly disrespecting their elders… or both. In any scenario, their newest material is yet another pledge to their youth, in that neither of them are remotely close to settling down. They brought fellow Southern California native Ray J along for the ride, who also delivers the hook with assistance from the dreaded vocoder.
Skinny Jeans and a Mic dorps on September 15th… We know you’re just chomping at the bit to hear it!
Enjoy?
