WCW | Game Ft. Ray J & Esther Dean | “P*ssy Fight”

by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Feb.03, 2010, under SLAP, WCW

catfightThere were whispers about this track a few months ago and the original snippets (I remember hearing) didn’t sound like this.

Looks like the added time Game decided to spend in the studio is paying off.

Not sure what to make of this in the way of the direction music is spinning, but you can’t deny it’s risky and fun. Easy? Perhaps… but who cares? Not my career.

That said, Game, Ray J along ith this mystery chick Esther Dean, really go there on this explicit mid.

As is his custom, Game calls out whoever is on his mind and manages to pull Ray J into the fray.

The latter brings about the most comical aspect of the track in that 1, Ray J is flowing and 2, he calls out Reggie’s main, Ellen D, Missy and Tila Tequila… Whoa!!

by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Nov.05, 2009, under KS NEWS

ajthegameJust when you thought it was safe to paint the town R.E.D. in December, the Game done changed… again.

On the heels of an explosive session in the studio with his mentor Dr. Dre, rapper Stat Quo and others, Game announced via Twitter that he will be pushing his fourth project back to the top of 2010.

February 16 of next year is the tentative date as of yesterday.

“[I] had to push it back so that me & Dre can wrap it up the right way !!!” he Tweeted. “Last night at the ‘AFTERMATH HEADQUARTERS’ was Classic ! [We] got it in all night. Aftermath.”

In addition to announcing he and the good Dr. had rekindled, Game also disclosed he RZA recently provided him with an “amazing” track that he has yet to drop any vocals to.

After an assortment of leaks and even offering he may in fact gift his own album to the public, it’s entirely possible the delay will allow Game to rework the music that’s made it’s way onto the Internet and into the music drives of his adoring fans.

Game’s RED Album Leaking Like A Water Faucet

by KS STAFF on Oct.30, 2009, under SLAP

061120_theGame_hsmall.widecCall it new age promotion or the way of the world, either way artists are being forced to reinvent their appeal as album leaks run rampant over the Internet.

The latest victim? Game.

Just when you thought he was in the studio hunkering down for the release of his fourth solo album, he changes his name, then two tracks that will almost certainly be on his latest project, find their way to every music blog in America.

The first, “Better Days,” feels more Phil Collins than Jayceon Taylor, but provides an honest look at a torn thug. Jim Jonsin provides the beat and Game takes yet another opportunity to expose his more emotional side.

“Big Money” finds the Compton born emcee in typical rapper mode, but more or less enjoying the fruits of his labor. Redundant? Perhaps, but what isn’t these days? Besides, shit bangs.

by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Oct.14, 2009, under KS NEWS, WCW

2a0kyso.jpgWhile his former label mate and adversary 50 Cent can’t seem to make his mind up as to when he’s going to drop his fourth opus, The GAME appears confident and ready about his latest release – The R.E.D. Album.

Also his fourth solo release since signing a major label deal with Interscope five years ago, The GAME let his adoring fans know his new masterpiece will be ready for listening consumption on December 1st.

As has become the custom with these big announcements, the Compton bred emcee took to Twitter to deliver the news.

R.E.D. album soon, wrappin this mothaf#$%@ up in 30 days ! Jimmy Iovine told me to tell ya when this sh!t drop, Merry X-Mas ! BWS/Aftermath,” he tweeted on Monday.

He also added that former Atlantic artist Diddy, who recently joined the Interscope family, may make a guest appearance.

No matter how much help he has, it will be difficult for Chuck Taylor to win the sales battle that day, as Alicia Keys’ Element of Freedom and R. Kelly’s Untitled, are both set to drop concurrently with R.E.D.
