by KS STAFF on Aug.12, 2010, under KS NEWS, SLAP
The brewing feud between the rapper Rick Ross and Young Jeezy may have picked up some momentum today with the release of the Miami emcee’s new track “The Summer Is Mine.”
In it, Rozay plays himself up as a boss who has claimed the current ’season,’ which is pretty much his custom. As the track progresses, he gets a little assertive, still leaving room for the ever popular “subliminal diss.”
“You niggas pathetic, leave you parapalegic/ You throwin’ the sets, but you really from Cleveland/ FUCK BOY! FUCK BOY! FUCK BOY…!!”
Who Repped B.M.F. The Best?
by KS STAFF on Aug.11, 2010, under THE EARLY EFFECT
Whether you’re aware of the brewing riff between Def Jam artists Young Jeezy and Rick Ross or not is of no consequence. What matters at this point is who came the hardest on the track. With Bun B’s most recent offering, our minds got to wandering… so we had to ask.
Is it Rozay?
Be it a mixtape release or not, he put it out there to begin with. One could argue it made waves due to its title, but bottom line, the shit sounds good. Dude may be a former corrections officer who built his career off another ni**a’s life, but he makes good music. Period.
Did Jeezy flip it?
A known affiliate with founding B.M.F. members, the Hawkinsville native made a home in Atlanta and appears to be very much the little brother to Big Meech and his brother Terry. The interesting thing about Jeezy’s most recent outburst, is it isn’t the first time he attempted to steal Ross’ thunder. (continue reading…)

And just when you thought Common had cleared the way for light skinned bruthas, the Fat Boys are back!
Prior to, he and his motorcycle gang, Ne-Yo included(?), politely remove her from her exhibit Zero’s car by surrounding his ride and bringing him to an unwanted stop.

by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Apr.16, 2010, under KS NEWS
In August of 2008 DJ Vlad filed a $4 million lawsuit against Rick Ross, claiming the rapper ordered members of his entourage to beat him down sometime during the course of an awards show weekend in Houston, Texas.
Yesterday, Vlad won a portion of the total sum in the amount of $300,000.
The incident was instigated when Vlad asked Ross about his past as a correctional officer in Miami, Florida. Ross apparently didn’t agree with the line of questioning and then orchestrated a brutal attack.
Vlad was left with seven stitches below one of his eyes, a corneal abrasion, three facial fractures and possible nerve damage.
Vlad was represented by Brian Caplan of Caplan & Ross LLP, who fought tooth and nail for his client.
Rick Ross’ Baby Mama Drama W/ 50 Cent, Pimpin Curly
by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Feb.26, 2010, under KS NEWS
Lestonia Leviston, the mother of rapper Rick Ross, is suing 50 Cent for releasing a sex tape and including himself on it to further fuel a beef between the two.
Leviston claims the tape has caused her emotional distress and maintains she never gave the G Unit CEO permission to use the tape in any shape, form or fashion.
In the video 50 is seen putting his acting skills to work as his alter ego “Pimpin’ Curly” gets some run. Curly refers to Leviston as Brooke the entire time while he more or less narrates the action for the viewer, stroke for stroke.
The edited tape was originally broadcast on 50s website subsidiary BOOBOO TV and was made in 2008, according to the lawsuit.
In related news, 50 Cent and Rick Ross recently ended their beef.
