Teddy Atlas Puts Pacquiao On Blast
by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Jan.11, 2010, under GAME, VID E OZE
By now you know all the hoopla surrounding the biggest fight since Ali/Frazier and if you don’t, you’re dwellng in some Comcast deprived cave.
Over the weekend, well on Friday, the subject Mayweather/Pacquiao came up and ESPN host, Brian Kenny reran a clip that aired earlier in the day. In it, Pacquiao trainer Freddie Roach offered that his fighter is against taking the blood tests because he “just doesn’t feel right for a few days.”
Roach also suggested that Mayweather is scared, as others have, to fight Pacquiao and that’s the reason why he’s attempting to alter the Nevada Boxing Commission’s rules for this particular bout.
The interest in the following clip, comes when boxing guru Teddy Atlas enters the fray. He allows that the casual observer on the streets of New York (or any city in America) is wondering aloud why Pacquiao would walk away from a $30 million payday.
Shots Fired! Young Buck Drops 2 G-Unit Diss Tracks
by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Jan.04, 2010, under SLAP
Fresh off a year where he was found out and ‘begging for mercy,’ Young Buck sets off 2010 with a pair of G-Unit disses. The first, “Happy New Year,” was presumably released as the Apple dropped and “Steroids,” the newer diss, surfaced closer to the end of the weekend.
It could be an act of desperation in an attempt to resuscitate his career, or he could really mean what he’s saying. The bad thing is, most people don’t really care anymore.
Cold thing about it is “Steroids” is actually a decent diss. Nice beat, well orchestrated bars, great energy, concept, etc. He seems to have generated a decent amount of interest, but dude really can’t win in the long run.
Buck kinda did himself in with that long ass message whimpering about how he fucked up… before we know it they’ll be claiming he’s bi-polar like the boy Game.
They really should do a Fuck G U-Not album together.
Marion Jones Eyes WNBA Career
by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Dec.01, 2009, under GAME, KS NEWS
Since being released from federal prison for using designer steroids and committing fraud as a primary in a check scam, former track queen Marion Jones has been relatively quiet – until now.
Jones was released over a year ago after doing the better part of a six month bid and is now reportedly making a comeback to the sports world. This time though, she wants to play basketball.
“I thought it would be an interesting journey if I decided to do this,” Jones told the Associated Press. “It would give me an opportunity to share my message to young people on a bigger platform; it would give me an opportunity to get a second chance.”
The former point guard and eventual National Champion during her playing stint at North Carolina, has reportedly been working out with the San Antonio Silver Stars. The team’s coach, Dan Hughes, was not fully up to speed with Jones’ progress, but did allow that her past troubles would not weigh in on his decision to play her, or not.
“I deal with people where they are right now,” Hughes said. “If she’s interested in playing, great for her. The past is the past.”
Mayweather Sr. Says ‘Little Floyd’ Will Whoop Pacman’s Ass
by KS STAFF on Nov.19, 2009, under GAME, KS NEWS
With the megafight between Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao looming, Floyd Mayweather Sr., former trainer to Oscar De La Hoya, recently spoke with the New York Post and expressed his thoughts on the battle to be.
“I think Little Floyd is going to whoop his ass,” he told the Post. “It wouldn’t be no problem at all. My son is not no (expletive) Cotto.”
Mayweather Sr. offered that Cotto was not the same boxer this past Saturday, that he was in 2007 when he defeated Shane Moseley. Moreover, he contributes the pummeling Cotto suffered at the hands of Antonio Margarito (who was later found to have used loaded gloves), as the turning point in Cotto’s career.
“Anytime you get hit with punches like that it takes a toll on your body,” Floyd Sr. said. “The kind of beat down he took, you can’t heal over that in that amount of time. You’re not going to heal of it because it’s in your head what happened. Anytime you get hit with another punch, it’s in your head. You’re going to think about.”
Usain Bolt Sets Fastest Mark In 150m
by KS STAFF on May.20, 2009, under GAME, VID E OZE

After blowing away the competition in Manchester and running the fastest time ever in the 150M dash, Usain Bolt proved all over again that on one in the world can keep pace with him. In a field that featured three other world class athletes, the Jamaican born prodigy raced his way into the record books and left his peers in his wake.
His efforts, while impressive, will no doubt raise the debate as to whether he is using performance enhancing drugs. It is common knowledge that testing for steroids and other performance enhancers is not as stiff in his homeland of Jamaica. It’s as if the act of training hard until you bleed, sweat and cry, doesn’t exist anymore. If you run too fast and people that used to run beside you don’t anymore, you’re on drugs.
It’s a cold reality, but it’s the world we live in.
After watching this race, do you think Usain Bolt is using performance enhancing drugs?
