New SLAP | Brotha Lynch Hung | “I Plotted”

by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Mar.02, 2010, under SLAP, VID E OZE

plottedYou either love Brotha Lynch Hung or you don’t, but one thing is certain. Dude can rap.

The material he chooses to spit, oft times causes people turn the other way, but his creativity and skill, has allowed him to sustain a career in this industry.

After a seven year album hiatus (Lynch By Inch, ‘03), he’s going full board and wants to invite any and all of his supporters past, present and future, to dine with him.

Fittingly, the Sacramento emcee’s comeback is being orchestrated by the powers that be @ Strange Music and “Plotted,” the second video/song off his forthcoming album Dinner & A Movie, is as odd and sonically pleasing as it gets.

Tech N9ne | “Show Me A God” (Video)

by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Oct.06, 2009, under VID E OZE

In case you hadn’t heard, Tech N9ne is back -with a vengeance – and this first single off his latest project, K.O.D., takes aim at none other than the Highest Power… sort of. Known to have atheist tendencies and/or border between worshiping satanic forces or not, Tech delivers a potent spill that questions why the world is so fucked up.

At a point, in addressing various natural disasters including Katrina and its multitude of victims, the Kansas City rapper wonders aloud why we have been victimized so. As such, he gives way to a side of him that would invite changed governed by a supernatural force, i.e. GOD.

An aggressive track coupled with Tech’s one of a kind flow, “Show Me A God,” is a fitting re-introduction and opens the door for his ambiguous antics all over again.
