After a flurry of unfortunate incidents within the past year, including the sale of his beloved Death Row, one would think Suge Knight had had enough of the music industry. However, such is not the case.

Suge was spotted on the streets of Chicago with some white dude who felt the need to announce him to the world… again.

A far cry from when he and ‘Pac communicated Death Row’s cruel intentions on the daily, but hey, he’s still here… You gotta admire the dude’s tenacity. Can’t rap, make a beat or manage the best west coast label ever, but still he persists.

According to TMZ, a home invasion involving “Detail,” a producer for multi-platinum selling recording artist Akon, was orchestrated by former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight. Walker claims a group of five men, Knight’s henchmen, broke into his home at 3:00 AM this morning with weapons drawn, demanding money they claimed was owed to Knight.

The men ultimately removed $170,000 worth of jewelry from Detail’s home, not even bothering to wake him from his sleep. (continue reading…)

A day after being denied the opportunity to design his own vehicle, KS has learned that 50 Cent is aggressively pursuing another investment that would all but prove to be among his best ever.

As previously reported, The Death Row catalogue is up for sale and buyers have balked at the opportunity to obtain it for fear of Suge Knight.

50 apparently, is not among that bunch.

The catalogue was estimated to cost a whopping $25 million, but the G Unit impresario could possibly acquire it for less than half the asking price.

The NY Daily News is reporting that a hefty amount of music from the hallowed Death Row catalogue is slated to be auctioned off on January 15th. According to Todd Nielsen, the Chapter 11 trustee of the Death Row estate, in which Suge Knight filed for in a bankruptcy suit in 2006, there are thousands of unreleased recordings in the collection.

“It could be a tough sale,” an unnamed source added. “Some people don’t want to go near the catalogue because they think Suge still believes it’s his.”

The previous asking price for the catalogue was a cool $25 million.

Marion “Suge” Knight must be praying that the calendar changes sooner than 12/31, cause he just can’t catch a break in ‘08. Unsurprisingly, his string of bad luck continued recently when his $6.2 million Malibu mansion was revoked from his posession to the tune of $4.56 million. If he is indeed reaping what he sowed, dude must have been more evil spirited and cruel than he was made out to be.

Prior to this report, Knight was brought up on felony charges for a domestic dispute with his former girlfriend. The incident made national headlines earlier this year and accused Knight of brandshing a knife in broad daylight while standing over her. 

Earlier that month (November), he filed suit against Kanye West for an alleged jewelry heist during an MTV pre VMA Party back in ‘05. He’s seeking $135 in losses and injuries.
