T.I. Made A Mixtape Called ‘F*ck A Mixtape’
by KS STAFF on May.28, 2010, under SLAP
T.I. is easily one of the most well spoken rappers in the industry. He can speak on topical issues. He chopped it up with Larry King Live on CNN for an hour. He’s made sense of his own issues and become a better person for it.
He recognizes the power of his pen, his words and is poised to reclaim his self-proclaimed throne with the release of his seventh solo LP King Uncaged.
However… He went and made a mixtape called Fuck A Mixtape.
We have yet to listen, but that’s kind of like kreating a twitter account and then saying, “I’m not a computer guy, don’t do it… No offense to those that do it, Twit on playa. People got ‘The King’ baby, just not on Twitter.”
We ain’t hatin’… just don’t understand the logic. Need a Tip or something… maybe we’ll just give it a listen and come to our own conclusion.
Beanie Goes Bad On Jay Z AND T.I.
by KS STAFF on Feb.17, 2010, under KS NEWS, VID E OZE
Former Rocafella artist Beanie Sigel took to the stage in his native Philly and broke it down for the home team.
Unsurprisingly, he took off on Jay Z (as he has made a habit of doing pretty much every time he’s grabbed a mic in the past few months or so), but Beans aimed the rest of his frustration at a surprise target.
One Clifford “T.I” Harris was the subject of Beanie’s latest barb and while he doesn’t say Tip’s name, it’s crystal clear who he’s referring to.
Let’s just say many in the hip hop community believe T.I. “worked the system” and his bodyguard to get the relaxed prison sentence he did and Beans is one of them.
Add the fact that Beans got a much harsher sentence for a lesser charge and he just might have a case.
Tip Halfway Home For Xmas

Atlanta rapper T.I. was officially been released from a low-security federal prison in Forrest City, Arkansas today (December 22).
The rapper, born Clifford Harris Jr., is expected to report to Dismas Charities Atlanta West correctional center tonight, where he will spend three months.
T.I. was sentenced to 366 days in prison after an October 2007 incident, in which federal agents caught him attempting to purchase machine guns and silencers.
After he has finished his stay at Dismas Charities Atlanta West, the rapper must complete 500 hours of community service, in addition to another 23 days of house arrest.
T.I. is expected to work during the three months he is confined to the halfway house, according to reports.
T.I. Expected to Be Released To Halfway House Soon
by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Dec.16, 2009, under KS NEWS
T.I. is expected to be released to a halfway house sometime in the next few months for his role in an illegal firearms case.
The Atlanta rapper’s activity in the highly publicized weapons scandal ultimately led to a sentence of one year and a day and he is months away from returning home, reports the Atlanta Journal Constitution.
T.I., whose real name is Clifford Harris, is expected to be confined to his home for a year after he is released from prison and the halfway house on March 23.
A prison spokesman indicated that Harris, like many offenders of the law, are often released to halfway houses when there is no direct threat or danger to their environs.
That process typically begins at or around 18 months prior to the end of said sentence. In Tip’s case, it would clearly have to start sooner.
“It’s not uncommon for inmates to be placed in community corrections for the last portion of their confinement to help with his transition,” noted Bureau of Prisons spokesman Edmond Ross.
Tip & Luda Drop $20 Gs To Help ATL Flood Victims
by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Sep.30, 2009, under KS NEWS
They may not have always seen eye to eye, but both Ludacris and the self proclaimed King of the South, T.I., aren’t so visually impaired that they can’t see when the city they both call home, needs them.
In an effort of philanthropy, both rappers donated $10k to aid victims who were affected by the horrific storms in Atlanta just last week.
The damages were estimated at $60 million, left 10 people dead and devastated over 400 homes.
So as to expedite the process of recovery, The Ludacris Foundation teamed up with Home Depot and Sam’s Club. Additionally, Luda’s charity is planning a food drive and gift card giveaway.
