by KS STAFF on Apr.09, 2010, under VID E OZE
Aaron McGruder and the Boondocks gang recently announced their intent to go through with a third and final season of socio-political cartoon series that’s made Riley the most talked about animated celebrity of his era.
Until the farewell, which will promptly begin on May 2nd at 11:30, expect to see McGruder and the homies weigh in on topical issues @ Boondocks Bootleg.
In this clip they get at Tiger Woods, parodying the golfer’s recent ad spot with Nike where his father’s words hold true years after his death.
Tiger’s First Public Interview Not Hardly Enough
by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Mar.22, 2010, under GAME, VID E OZE
Tiger Woods took his first and second interviews since Thanksgiving night ‘09, when he crashed his car at his estate, effectively beginning perhaps the worst cycle of events he’d ever imagined for himself personally.
Woods and his team restricted the interviewers from ESPN and the Golf Channel to five minutes apiece, but did not place any limits on the nature of questioning.
The Stanford grad appeared to be remorseful for his actions and determined to overcome the obstacles as they’d presented themselves. However, the time, or lack thereof, robbed anyone that was watching the opportunity to find some sort of understanding.

Tiger Woods Is Cheap
Words: Malika S. Flowers
I can’t help but to be a touch enthralled with this whole Tiger Woods story. Not that I brag about it these days, but I was a total Tiger fan back in the day. I remember the first time I’d ever lain eyes on him. My mother was watching a tennis match, and during one of the commercials, they’d shown some new kid with big teeth that everyone had been watching. I was smitten. Apparently, he was on his way to going pro and the golf world was turned on its side. Not only was he young, but he also wasn’t lily white (well, at least not in skin tone).
During that time, I read everything about him that I could. Every Monday I’d scan the newspaper for pictures of Tiger and I’d kept a close eye on what and how he was doing. Every magazine that he graced the front of, I purchased. GQ did a great cover story on him, as did Sports Illustrated and I carried those magazines everywhere with me. Of course now I realize that I was just doing what many other fans were doing at the time, but I kind of considered Tiger and I to be buds. Although my infatuation eventually subsided, I still maintained a soft spot for him.
When the news of Tiger and his cheap harem came to be made known, I thought back to one of the magazine articles that I’d read on my past future baby daddy during his hey day. The article casually stated how everyone in his entourage joked about what a tightwad Tiger was. They laughed about how he never carried cash on him, and his friends often had to spot him cash for lunch and gas.
Gatorade Drops Tiger Like A Bad Habit
by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Dec.08, 2009, under GAME, KS NEWS
Gatorade officials announced Tuesday that they would no longer carry or promote the Tiger Woods’ version of its wildly popular thirst quencher.
Recently the golf phenom has been making headlines for his extramarital affairs and while most would assume Gatorade’s decision to drop his drink – FOCUS – is a result of that activity, company officials deny that as the truth.
In fact, Gatorade was steadfast in its claims to have made the decision to discontinue FOCUS “months ago.”
“We decided several months ago to discontinue Gatorade Tiger Focus along with some other products to make room for our planned series of innovative products in 2010,” an official statement read. “We hope to share more about our 2010 plans soon.”
They may have decided to cut the drink prior to Woods’ series of missteps, but it stands to reason they were going to include him in their 2010 plans. No? Seriously, who in their right mind would deny a billion dollar icon the right to sell their product, unless he’d disgraced his family and friends?
Tiger Woods Goes Clubbin’
by Malika S. Flowers on Nov.29, 2009, under KS NEWS
Recently, Tiger Woods and his wife Elin made news, when around 2 a.m. Thanksgiving morning, Tiger was in a car accident in his upscale Orlando area subdivision. The original story, as reported to police, was that Tiger hit a fire hydrant and a neighbor’s tree while exiting his driveway and that Elin heard the crash, and ran outside to help her husband by smashing the rear windshield of his Cadillac with a golf club to help him out of the car.
It was reported that Tiger was in and out of consciousness and on the ground when paramedics arrived. Tiger was not said to have been under the influence, and no charges were expected to be filed.
It didn’t take too long for news and gossip blogs to speculate that there was more to the story than was being let on. The National Enquirer reported two days before the incident that Woods had been having an affair with a woman named Rachel Uchitel, and that may have been cause for an argument between him and his wife.
The story that is starting to evolve (as reported by TMZ.com) is that Elin confronted Tiger after the National Enquirer story and that she attacked him with a golf club, causing him to flee in his car. She chased him, and busted out a window, making him to hit the tree and fire hydrant. Police attempted to come back and interview Tiger after the incident, however his wife told them that he was unavailable because he was sleeping. He is expected to talk with police soon.
More than likely, Tiger will now take away the Jazmine Sullivan that Elin had been listening to.
