Young Jeezy Disses Officer Ricky, Torch Snaps On Twitter (Updated)
by KS STAFF on Aug.10, 2010, under KS NEWS
Young Jeezy is making waves with his new track “Death Before Dishonor.” In it, he takes a few swings at Officer Ricky and defends the ‘honor’ of his incarcerated comrade Big Meech.
Meech, whose real name is Demetrius Flenory, is currently serving 30 years for his role in operating a continuing criminal enterprise where he and his brother Terry (”Southwest T”) sold over $300 million worth of cocaine from 1990 -2005.
Jeezy’s ties to the Flenory’s empire, Black Mafia Family or B.M.F., is a little ambiguous. He has however, called various members “family” on different occasions.
Jeezy doesn’t waste a whole lot of time getting down to the business of dissing Ross. After a few witty verses he asks:
How you blowin’ money fast?/ you don’t know the crew/ Oh you part of the fam, shit I never knew…” (continue reading…)
Christina Milian Living Another Nightmare
by KS STAFF on Jul.13, 2010, under KS NEWS
Christina Milian is following in the footsteps of Halle Berry and we don’t foresee any Grammy nods in the immediate future either.
No, Milian is taking after Berry in the relationship department, having severed ties with her husband of ten months – Terius “The Dream” Nash today – according to published reports.
The Dream was seen canoodling on the beach with his personal assistant sometime this past week and images of their display hit the Internet less than 24 hours ago.
A statement from Dream’s camp goes:
“Terius ‘The-Dream’ Nash is saddened to announce that his marriage to Christina Milian was unsuccessful. The couple reached this decision in late 2009, but decided to keep the news private in efforts to protect their baby daughter Violet. (continue reading…)
Erykah Badu Responds To Flack Over “Window Seat”
by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Mar.29, 2010, under VID E OZE
Erykah Badu has always been known to push the envelope and she did her part to continue the trend over the weekend when the video for “Window Seat” was released on Saturday.
Badu stripped down in the middle of Dallas, Texas. The path she strolled, through Dealey Plaza, was the same route John F. Kennedy’s limousine took the day he was assassinated. Moreover, the position where she is hypothetically shot, is parallel to the “X” where Kennedy was fatally struck in in the street.
Badu’s latest moment of controversy is being met with loads of criticism and praise alike.
The most common reason is because she stripped herself of her clothing to visualize the idea that we are “quick to assassinate what we don’t understand.”
Very much award of the backlash, Badu took to her Twitter account to address the Internet’s latest sensation.
“[I] heard people yelling different things @ me but I held my head up high and kept moving. There were children there. I prayed they wouldn’t be traumatized.”
She also mentioned getting approval from both of her baby daddies and disclosed that although Moms wasn’t feeling the whole bucked naked thing, did offer full support.

Arenas Suspended Indefinitely For Being A Goofball
by KOPY KAT on Jan.06, 2010, under GAME, KS NEWS
New York – NBA commissioner David Stern has indefinitely suspended Gilbert Arenas, saying the Washington Wizards guard is “not currently fit to take the court” for a game.
Stern said in a statement Wednesday that Arenas’ actions will “ultimately result in a substantial suspension, and perhaps worse.”
Because Arenas violated NBA rules by bringing guns into Washington’s locker room, Stern decided to punish Arenas now. He said the suspension begins immediately.
“We fully endorse the decision of the NBA to indefinitely suspend Gilbert Arenas,” the Wizards responded in a statement on Wednesday. “Strictly legal issues aside, Gilbert’s recent behavior and statements, including his actions and statements last night in Philadelphia, are unacceptable. Some of our other players appeared to find Gilbert’s behavior in Philadelphia amusing. This is also unacceptable. Under Abe Pollin’s leadership, our organization never tolerated such behavior, and we have no intention of ever doing so.”
Stern says he originally planned to wait for the criminal investigation to be completed before taking action, and had directed the Wizards to do the same.
