Watts’ native Jay Rock has been gettin’ it in the past month or so… not to say he wasn’t busy prior to, but recently, the “Takeover” campaign has gone full throttle. The track below represents the most recent installment – days 10 thru 13 – of an impressive string of street hits.

The track below is the product of a joint venture between Willie Joe, Traxamillion, Nio Tha Gift and Erk tha Jerk. No word as to when the album is dropping, but you can only expect great things from a collaborative effort like this one. Great look for the Yay.

Whenever he dips for an extended period of time, Knoc-Turn’al seems to return with a banger and this time is no different. In this latest effort, appropriately entitled “Sorry I Left You,” Knoc addresses his most recent hiatus off top, offering an apology of sorts. He admits he got lazy and bored, allowing that Dre. made him in the process of us getting to know him.

You get the idea that he knows shit could have popped off had he stayed…

If only due to his inconsistencies, Knoc-Turn’al won’t carry the Coast any time soon. However, there is no denying his ability to deliver good music. Equipped, apparently with a new attitude and label (Treacherous Records), Knoc is back to reclaim his spot. Let’s just hope he can stay there for awhile…
