Rozay Claims The Summer With Jeezy Diss
by KS STAFF on Aug.12, 2010, under KS NEWS, SLAP
The brewing feud between the rapper Rick Ross and Young Jeezy may have picked up some momentum today with the release of the Miami emcee’s new track “The Summer Is Mine.”
In it, Rozay plays himself up as a boss who has claimed the current ’season,’ which is pretty much his custom. As the track progresses, he gets a little assertive, still leaving room for the ever popular “subliminal diss.”
“You niggas pathetic, leave you parapalegic/ You throwin’ the sets, but you really from Cleveland/ FUCK BOY! FUCK BOY! FUCK BOY…!!”
Who Repped B.M.F. The Best?
by KS STAFF on Aug.11, 2010, under THE EARLY EFFECT
Whether you’re aware of the brewing riff between Def Jam artists Young Jeezy and Rick Ross or not is of no consequence. What matters at this point is who came the hardest on the track. With Bun B’s most recent offering, our minds got to wandering… so we had to ask.
Is it Rozay?
Be it a mixtape release or not, he put it out there to begin with. One could argue it made waves due to its title, but bottom line, the shit sounds good. Dude may be a former corrections officer who built his career off another ni**a’s life, but he makes good music. Period.
Did Jeezy flip it?
A known affiliate with founding B.M.F. members, the Hawkinsville native made a home in Atlanta and appears to be very much the little brother to Big Meech and his brother Terry. The interesting thing about Jeezy’s most recent outburst, is it isn’t the first time he attempted to steal Ross’ thunder. (continue reading…)
New SLAP | Young Jeezy | “Hood Politics” (Video)
by PAPERBOI PIMPEN on Apr.30, 2010, under VID E OZE
Young Jeezy’s Trap Or Die II: By Any Means Necessary drops Tuesday and by the looks of this video, he’s stepped his game up.
Your normal every day runner just doesn’t absorb in these kinds of luxuries… Smoking Cubans with Cubans… in big ass mansions in the A?
I’m just sayin’ doe…
Seriously tho, this thing looks like it has the makings of another classic, even though Shawty Red isn’t headlining production duties (for obvious reasons).
Couldn’t have found a more suitable replacement in Don Cannon, who is perfectly capable of delivering that A1 Yola.
“Hood Politics” as usual…
Rihanna Ft. Young Jeezy | “Hard” (Video)
by KS STAFF on Dec.17, 2009, under VID E OZE

Not really sure what Rihanna is trying to prove, but it’s been fun watching her these past few months. The hair, the costume, the skin… it’s all about evolution and we support it 1000%.
This heavily anticipated video with Young Jeezy doesn’t disappoint in the way of her growth. Lots of coochie grabbing, gun toting and skin showing on RiRi’s part. As for her guest collaborator Jeezy? He takes yet another opportunity to remind us all where he came from and why he’s the perfect candidate to lend bars about that speak to street cred and durability.
Young Jeezy Up To His Usual Tricks In The Yay
by KS STAFF on Aug.18, 2009, under VID E OZE
Young Jeezy is known for bringing people out on stage to either create a bigger effect for himself or to show love to some city and/or crowd. For instance, this year, after he’d wrecked the Birthday Bash set in ATL, he brought out Lil Wayne to a stunned crowd that would have gone through the roof had their been one. From what we know of Jeezy, he always gives it up and this example, which occurred Saturday night in the Bay Area, was no different, as he brought out the Ambassador of the Yay, E, muthafuckin’ 40 while passing through on the AMW tour.
If there’s any reason to criticize Jeezy, it would rest in the idea that he announced 40 as the “King of Oakland” and anyone who’s traveled across the bridge more than five times, knows Earl is from Vallejo. The other would be the notion that he seemed to think he was in Oakland opposed to Concord… other than that, it was cavvy.
